Committees

About

Committees are yearlong volunteer groups led by youth “coordinators,” for youth! Each committee is related to one of Red Cross’ lines of service, so members have the opportunity to volunteer in a specific field and learn more about Red Cross' mission. Committees meet every other week at the chapter for one hour. To join one (or more) committee(s), simply apply! Committee apps closed on September 30th. If you are still interested in joining, contact the coordinator.

How to Apply

1. Choose your committee(s). Read the committee descriptions below for an overview or click the "Committee Presentation" buttons for more detailed slides. Note the different meeting times.
2. Click the “Committee App” button to go to the committee application. The app will either be a Google form or doc that you can electronically submit. If it asks for a signature, just provide an electronic signature (type your name).
3. Follow the instructions to fill out the app. If you have questions about the app, email the coordinator of the committee.
4. All committee apps are due September 30. If you are still interested in joining, contact the coordinator.
5. The coordinator will email out results and set a date for the first meeting by mid-October.
